Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Appointment Setter Manager to lead, motivate, and grow a team of 5–15 Appointment Setters. In this role, you will be responsible for hiring, training, and coaching your team to consistently meet and exceed monthly booking goals. You will work directly under the Marketing Sales Director and collaborate with other leadership to optimize sales strategies and CRM utilization.
As the Appointment Setter Manager, you will still be expected to make calls and set appointments yourself—leading by example and staying connected to the day-to-day sales process. This position is fully remote and offers a 100% commission-based compensation structure, including a 5% team override on all deals set by your team, plus additional bonuses and commissions as outlined in our manager contract.
Key Responsibilities
Team Building & Management
- Recruit, hire, and onboard Appointment Setters to build a high-performing team of 5–15 members.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback to help team members meet individual and team quotas.
Training & Development
- Train new and existing team members on the CRM, sales tools, and best practices for cold calling, emailing, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Develop ongoing training sessions to refine appointment setting techniques, product knowledge, and closing skills.
Quota Management
- Meet monthly and quarterly booking targets for the team in line with company goals.
- Track metrics and KPIs to ensure targets are consistently met or exceeded.
- Implement strategies to improve performance when goals are not met.
Process Optimization
- Work closely with the Marketing Sales Director and other leadership to refine outreach strategies and lead qualification processes.
- Analyze conversion rates and make data-driven recommendations to improve the overall effectiveness of the team.
- Collaborate on CRM enhancements or workflow solutions to streamline operations.
Appointment Setting
- Lead by example: Make outbound calls, send emails, and connect via LinkedIn to set appointments.
- Demonstrate effective sales techniques and time management strategies to the team.
CRM Management
- Ensure all team members accurately log outreach efforts, track follow-ups, and maintain up-to-date records of prospects.
- Monitor CRM usage to identify areas of improvement or training opportunities.
Data Sourcing & CRM Management:
- Identify and utilize specialized tools and software to compile targeted lead lists. Ensure these lists are accurately uploaded into the CRM, providing the Appointment Setter team with a consistent pipeline of qualified prospects to call.
Collaboration & Communication
- Serve as the primary link between the Appointment Setter team and Marketing Sales Director.
- Share insights and feedback on market trends, lead quality, and sales funnel progression.
Manager Commission & Bonus Structure
Monthly Media Services Contracts
- Month 1–5: 5% of the total revenue generated by each client’s monthly service fee.
- Commissions end after the fith month of service, regardless of the contract’s overall length.
First-Month Performance Bonus
- If 50% of your team exceeds the monthly booking goal—where each member signs at least one additional client on a minimum 3-month contract—you will receive an additional $250 per team member who surpasses that goal.
Single Service/Project Commission
- Earn a flat 10% commission on revenue from one-time projects (e.g., photo shoots, video shoots, branding packages, or website refreshes).
Stipulations
- Multi-month commissions apply only to contracts of three months or longer.
- For clients signing less than a three-month contract, you receive a 15% commission for the first month only.
- Commission applies only to new clients (not returning or re-engaged).
- The company reserves the right to modify the commission structure with at least two weeks’ written notice.
Team Override
- Managers earn 5% commission on every deal booked by their team.
Who We’re Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in a B2B sales environment, with proven success in appointment setting or sales management.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and inspire a sales team.
- Sales Acumen: Strong background in cold calling, lead qualification, and CRM utilization.
- People Skills: Charismatic, personable, and able to build rapport quickly with both team members and potential clients.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Salesforce) and other sales tools. (Bonus if you have experience running call center autodialers such as kixie or other related software)
- Passion for Adventure: Genuine interest in the outdoors, hiking, travel, and related industries.
- Organized & Driven: Self-motivated with excellent time-management and goal-setting capabilities.
