Research Associate

Description:

We are seeking a Research Associate III to join our team. This individual will play a key role in designing and executing experiments for various innovation projects related to cell culture media and growth supplement products. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with human primary cells and be skilled in handling various cell lines, applying aseptic techniques, and conducting research to optimize and develop products for cell culture applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute experiments to develop or optimize cell culture media and growth supplements for human primary cells and cell lines.

• Maintain precise and organized records of experiments, analyzing and reporting on generated data.

• Demonstrate expertise in aseptic techniques and handling primary cells and cell lines.

• Design and execute analytical and cell culture-based functionality testing, including cell growth assays.

• Troubleshoot experimental results related to cells, media, raw materials, media formulation, product storage, and QC assays.

• Manage laboratory stocks of chemicals, reagents, and supplies.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Master’s degree in biology, chemistry, or a related discipline, or a B.S. degree with 5 - 10 years of relevant industrial experience.

• Strong knowledge of aseptic cell culture techniques, basic biology, chemistry, mathematical calculations, statistical analysis, and technical writing.

• Proficiency in laboratory equipment and MS Office.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills for sharing data and conclusions with scientific peers and colleagues.
