Description:

Wolters Kluwer, a global leader in professional information services and software solutions, is seeking a Senior UX/CX Research Consultant to join its Digital eXperience Group (DXG) in Kennesaw, GA. This role focuses on driving deep customer understanding and enhancing user-centered design through data-driven research across Wolters Kluwer’s CT Corporation business unit.

The Senior UX/CX Research Consultant will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams—including product managers, UX designers, and engineers—to design and deliver meaningful, evidence-based insights that elevate user satisfaction and business performance. This position plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between research, design, and business strategy by uncovering user needs, defining opportunities, and validating design solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, and execute qualitative and quantitative UX/CX research studies to inform and support product development.

  • Partner with Product Management, UX Design, and Engineering teams to ensure research aligns with strategic goals and customer needs.

  • Employ generative and evaluative methods (interviews, usability testing, surveys, heuristic evaluations, ethnographic studies, etc.) to derive actionable insights.

  • Lead visioning workshops and ideation sessions with cross-functional teams to translate insights into product opportunities.

  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment and ensure data-driven decision-making across design and product teams.

  • Champion user-centered design principles, promoting empathy and customer advocacy across teams.

  • Guide integration of AI-based insights and experimental tools based on research findings.

  • Maintain transparency in research outcomes and communicate progress, metrics, and insights to leadership and stakeholders.

  • Stay abreast of emerging UX trends, best practices, and tools to continuously improve research quality and relevance.

  • Promote a culture of collaboration, feedback, and iterative design grounded in data and experimentation.


Qualifications and Requirements:

Required:

  • Legally authorized to work permanently in the USA.

  • Minimum 6 years of UX/CX research experience in industry or startups.

  • Proficiency with Lean Product and Lean UX methodologies.

  • Proven ability to build trusted partnerships across UX, Product, and Technology teams.

  • Skilled in managing and conducting end-to-end research, from planning to presentation.

  • Experience working in Agile/Lean environments and distributed teams.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and facilitation skills.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA) required; Master’s degree preferred.

  • Experience in finance or corporate compliance environments is advantageous.

  • Strong project management and presentation abilities.

  • Familiarity with organizational change management and cultural transformation initiatives.


Work Arrangement:

  • Hybrid: Must be onsite 8 days per month at a Wolters Kluwer office (within 50 miles).
