As a Retail Assistant Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting store operations, driving sales, and ensuring a premium shopping experience. You will lead and mentor the team, oversee visual merchandising standards, manage inventory, and contribute to the store's overall profitability. This position is perfect for individuals passionate about customer service, leadership, and achieving sales goals in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor, coach, and inspire employees to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.

  • Ensure visual merchandising aligns with Skechers' high standards of style and innovation.

  • Monitor stock levels, manage restocking, and maintain an organized sales floor.

  • Oversee daily store operations including scheduling, opening/closing, and operational systems.

  • Implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and exceed performance expectations.

  • Proactively address operational challenges and resolve customer concerns efficiently.

  • Occasionally assist in physical tasks, including lifting and moving boxes (up to 50 lbs.).

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

  • Leadership experience in retail, hospitality, or restaurant environments is preferred.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with ability to manage operational tasks effectively.

  • Proven ability to drive sales and meet revenue targets.

  • Exceptional communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal).

  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.

  • Must be at least 18 years old at the time of application.

  • Ability to create a respectful, inclusive, and safe work environment.
