The Estée Lauder Companies Inc., a global leader in luxury beauty, is currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Key Holder to join our team at The Cosmetics Company Store, located in Tanger Outlets, Deer Park, NY. As a Key Holder, you will support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store. You will be a critical team member responsible for ensuring smooth business operations, opening and closing duties, and providing exemplary customer service. This position requires exceptional interpersonal skills, sales ability, and a proactive mindset toward mentoring and coaching sales associates.
Assist store leadership with daily operations, ensuring efficient and smooth functioning of the retail store
Open and close the store as per the assigned shift schedule, including full cash reconciliation
Deliver outstanding, authentic, and personalized customer service, setting a benchmark for the sales team
Provide guidance and mentorship to sales associates to achieve sales and service targets
Uphold brand integrity by following visual merchandising standards and store presentation guidelines
Support in managing inventory levels, product replenishment, and stockroom organization
Handle point-of-sale transactions efficiently and accurately
Communicate effectively with the store team to align on goals, customer needs, and business priorities
Maintain a safe and welcoming store environment for both customers and team members
Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, launches, promotions, and company policies
Prior experience in retail, preferably in cosmetics or beauty-related sales
Proven ability to provide high-level customer service in a fast-paced retail environment
Prior experience in cash handling, POS software, and opening/closing store responsibilities preferred
Supervisory or coaching experience is desirable
Flexibility to work a varied schedule including days, nights, weekends, and special events
Strong communication and leadership skills
Legally authorized to work in the United States; proof of eligibility required for interviews
Hourly Pay: $17.82 – $29.69 (based on experience, skills, and location)
