Description:
O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store operations, and appearance. The position may also assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of store leadership. Bilingual candidates, especially Spanish speakers, are highly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead store team members to deliver exceptional customer service to retail and professional customers.
Supervise and ensure execution of customer service programs, including Related Sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, and Rock the Lot.
Manage telephone calls according to company policy.
Ensure timely processing of buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders, contacting customers as needed.
Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently using electronic order ledgers.
Manage retail customer returns and exchanges, issuing accurate refunds and processing returned merchandise correctly.
Ensure proper invoicing of merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before leaving the store.
Delegate and complete merchandising tasks and Zipline communications as assigned.
Ensure team adherence to schedules, including clocking in/out per company policy.
Perform store opening/closing duties, including day-end procedures, money handling, bank deposits, security, and vehicle checks.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Candidate Requirements:
Required:
Strong communication skills
Ability to obtain RSS Certification
Desired:
Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts
Automotive systems and repair knowledge
ASE Certification
Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
