Retail Warehouse Associate

Description:

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Seasonal Beauty Advisor to provide exceptional guest service and support sales in the Olathe, KS store. The role focuses on delivering a personalized, engaging customer experience, driving retail and service sales, and supporting in-store events.

This position is ideal for candidates passionate about beauty, eager to learn, and capable of working in a fast-paced retail environment while assisting guests with cosmetic, skincare, and salon services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Performance:

• Meet or exceed store goals related to retail/service sales, guest loyalty, and omni-channel sales.

• Provide exceptional guest service, including product recommendations and personalized consultations.

• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations.

• Handle sales transactions, refunds, exchanges, and online order support.

• Book appointments and support in-store events.

• Maintain product knowledge and stay informed about new offerings.

People:

• Contribute to an inclusive, collaborative environment for teammates and guests.

• Promote the guest loyalty program, including Ulta Beauty app and credit offerings.

• Participate in ongoing training and brand education to enhance skills.

Process:

• Follow company policies, procedures, and compliance standards.

• Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including salesfloor, backroom, and break areas.

• Replenish stock, set up marketing displays, perform inventory tasks, and process shipments.

• Uphold loss prevention and operational best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• High school diploma preferred

Experience:

• 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Skills:

• Passion for guest service and sales competency

• Proficiency with basic technology (Point of Sale systems, Apple devices)

• Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills

• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
