Retention Specialist

 

Description:

Assisting the Cogent sales team with maintaining a high-quality relationship with current Cogent customers while renegotiating the term and rate of required services whether the customer is moving locations, requesting a change to their current services or their current contractual obligation.

Qualifications :
 

  • 1-4+ years of solid, B2B sales and/or customer retention experience preferably in the technology area.
  • Although previous sales experience is highly preferred, it is not necessary
  • Strong, professional oral and written communication skills are required
  • You must also be able to work in a fast paced, team environment with revenue deadlines
  • Track record of success and recent experience is required
  • Professional knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office and Sales Force are a plus
  • College degree is preferred
