Description:

Oxford Nanopore Technologies, a global leader in nanopore-based sensing technology, is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Sales Analyst to support commercial growth and revenue optimization efforts. This remote position is ideal for a data-driven professional with strong business storytelling skills who thrives in a fast-paced, globally matrixed environment.

As a Sales Analyst, you will collaborate across departments — including Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Operations — to provide insights that directly influence strategy, forecasting, and execution. You’ll design dashboards, analyze performance trends, lead territory planning, and support incentive programs while helping refine business intelligence tools.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Sales and Commercial leadership to provide actionable insights on performance and growth

  • Analyze trends across geographies, products, and sales channels to inform strategy

  • Lead pipeline analytics and build forecasting models in partnership with Finance and Sales teams

  • Develop and maintain dashboards in tools like Salesforce, Tableau, and Power BI

  • Support incentive design, territory planning, and quota setting using data analytics

  • Conduct deep analyses on pricing, segmentation, customer behavior, and market dynamics

  • Act as a cross-functional liaison across Product, Customer Care, and Marketing departments

  • Drive improvements in CRM and BI platforms; create documentation, training materials, and testing processes

  • Manage the commercial SharePoint content and ensure seamless access to enablement tools

  • Provide ongoing analytics and operational support for field incentive programs and global quarterly reviews


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, or related discipline

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in analytics, sales operations, or revenue intelligence

  • Proficient in CRM and BI tools (Salesforce, Tableau, Excel, Power BI); SQL/Python knowledge is a plus

  • Strong ability to translate complex datasets into strategic business recommendations

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Comfort working across distributed teams in dynamic and fast-paced environments


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in biotechnology, life sciences, or high-growth tech sectors

  • Familiarity with incentive plan design, territory optimization, and customer segmentation

  • Advanced skills in dashboard creation and data visualization
