Talbots, a leading omni-channel specialty retailer of women’s clothing, shoes, and accessories, is seeking a Sales Associate for their Acton, MA store location. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in building lasting relationships with customers and driving sales through exceptional customer service. You will support service enhancers to build strong relationships, such as active use of Concierge services, and help customers find the perfect products through personalized interactions. Your goal will be to achieve sales metrics in areas such as Clientelling/Outreach, Appointment Setting, and Talbots Classic Awards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and foster a culture of hospitality by delivering exceptional customer experiences.

• Build enduring relationships with customers both internally and externally.

• Actively participate in store activities and events to promote the Talbots brand.

• Support the achievement of sales and service metrics including Clientelling/Outreach, Appointment Setting, and Talbots Classic Awards.

• Demonstrate a proactive approach to contacting clientele in a way that is relevant, timely, and meaningful.

• Maintain a high level of knowledge of current products and fashion trends.

• Ensure the store represents the Talbots brand professionally.

Requirements:

• A passion for selling and an ability to drive traffic into the store.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of integrity.

• Strong planning and organizational skills to proactively manage clientele and sales efforts.

• Must be able to work 20–29 hours per week with flexible availability (including evenings, weekends, and holidays).

• Able to comfortably climb ladders, move regularly, and stand for extended periods.

• Physically capable of bending, reaching, stretching for products, and lifting, carrying, and moving up to 40 lbs.

• Comfortable using POS/computer/iPad/handheld systems.
