Description:

As a Sales Associate at World Market, you will play an important role in delivering exceptional customer service and creating an outstanding shopping experience for customers. You will be responsible for a range of duties including merchandising, cashiering, stocking, and maintaining visual standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service while assisting customers with their shopping experience.

• Stock merchandise according to visual standards and company guidelines.

• Cashier duties according to customer service guidelines and register procedures.

• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the sales floor and stockroom.

• Adhere to company loss prevention policies and procedures.

• Assist with unloading trucks and stocking inventory.

• Perform general housekeeping duties as directed by management.

Qualifications:

• A can-do attitude and commitment to a collaborative, respectful culture.

• 1 year of retail experience preferred, but not required.

• Excellent communication and time management skills.

• Ability to engage with customers and initiate conversations.

• Minimum age of 16 years.

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
