Sales Consultant

 

Description:

Tri Net is seeking a Sales Consultant to help power business success with extraordinary HR. This role is ideal for those looking to drive sales for TriNet’s comprehensive HR solutions, including payroll, employee benefits, and human capital consulting, to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). As a Sales Consultant, you will prospect new clients, sell TriNet’s solutions, and build your own book of business, managing multiple sales opportunities in parallel.


Responsibilities:

  • Plan: Develop an annual plan to achieve targets within a defined territory.

  • Prospecting: Build and maintain a pipeline of target prospects via cold calling, email, phone, LinkedIn, and ecosystem partners.

  • Qualifying Opportunities: Understand the target market and quickly assess potential opportunities.

  • Value & Consultative Selling: Establish relationships as a trusted advisor and build long-term client relationships.

  • Sales Process: Manage a complex, multi-step sales process through various stages (3-6 months sales cycle).

  • Sales Tools & Systems: Utilize Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, and quoting tools for efficient management of sales activities.

  • Quota Achievement: Meet sales activity metrics and exceed quota targets.

  • Administrative Tasks: Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner and demonstrate TriNet’s core values.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree desired or equivalent education/related experience.

  • Experience:

    • 3+ years of experience in a B2B complex sales cycle.

    • Proven experience in PEO (Professional Employer Organization) preferred.

  • Skills:

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    • Ability to build a book of business from scratch and establish referral networks.

    • Ability to manage multiple sales opportunities at different stages.

    • Tech-savvy with experience in Salesforce.com, MS Office, and web applications.

    • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.


Travel Requirements:

  • Ability and willingness to travel within the assigned territory to meet with prospective clients.


Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary: $75,000 - $92,500 (base salary), plus commissions.
