Sales Development Representative

 

Description:

You Will:

+ Call current and prospective clients to set-up meetings for our Professional Information Business suite of products.

+ Work with Sales Directors, Account Executives and Sales Specialists to create sales campaigns for specific segments. Identify target groups, build prospect lists and produce qualified sales leads through targeted campaigns.

+ Identify and qualify new leads to achieve and exceed personal and team revenue goals.

+ Develop necessary internal relationships with all parts of the Professional Information Business team (Data Strategy, Product, Marketing & Sales).

+ Maintain records of sales calls, contacts and sales campaigns in the global CRM to provide management information.

You Have:

+ 1+ year experience required

+ Comfort and confidence with cold calling.

+ Work in a team environment.

+ Motivated by results.

+ Good planning and organizational skills.

+ Experience in selling information and compliance tools to senior business decision makers a plus.

+ Knowledge or Willingness to participate in professional development activities to stay current on industry knowledge of compliance personnel.

+ Ability to utilize effective influencing strategies to gain agreement or commitment to proposed solutions in order to help advance the sales process to the next level.

+ Ability to drive new business opportunities within new prospects, as well as ability to upsell to existing Dow Jones customers within a team selling environment.

+ Ability to identify key customer issues to determine whether it is appropriate to set-up a meeting with a specialist.

+ Ability to maintain effectiveness when working closely with people of diverse cultures or background.

+ Ability to effectively handle multiple activities and re-prioritize when necessary to ensure revenue goals are achieved.
