Sales Development Representative

 

Description:

OpenEye, a leading provider of cloud video platform solutions, is looking for an Associate Sales Development Representative (ASDR) to join its dynamic sales team. The ASDR will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, building relationships with potential customers, and setting up meetings for account executives. This role is based at OpenEye's headquarters in Liberty Lake, WA, and offers an excellent opportunity for career development in sales within the technology sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research potential customers using various tools, including social media (LinkedIn), industry publications, and CRM systems

  • Conduct outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn messages to engage prospects and generate interest in OpenEye’s products and services

  • Qualify leads based on business needs, challenges, and fit with OpenEye’s solutions

  • Schedule meetings and demos for the account executive team with qualified prospects

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales activity records in Salesforce

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to implement effective outreach strategies

  • Follow up with interested prospects who have not yet committed to meetings

  • Provide regular reports on lead generation, pipeline status, and key metrics to the Sales Development Manager

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably in the technology sector

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Understanding of the sales process (lead generation, qualification, appointment setting)

  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, Outreach) and other sales tools

  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a proactive work ethic

  • Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hourly Rate: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

  • Commission: Uncapped commission earning potential ($27,000 - $29,000 annually)

  • Target Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 (base + commission)
