Sales Director

Description:

Cogent Communications, a global Tier 1 ISP, is hiring a Sales Director to lead and manage a sales team consisting of Sales Managers and Sales Representatives. This leadership role focuses on developing and executing a sales strategy to meet revenue targets, while directly engaging with customers and ensuring strong sales performance across the team.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Lead, coach, and train a team of Sales Managers and their sales representatives.
✅ Develop and implement an effective Sales Strategy to meet assigned revenue quotas.
✅ Maintain direct customer contact to drive sales opportunities and close business.
✅ Ensure team members are properly equipped, motivated, and supported to achieve success.
✅ Collaborate with senior leadership to align sales goals with overall business objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

✔️ Proven success selling Telecom/Technology products.
✔️ Experience in leading Sales Managers.
✔️ Strong new business development skills.
✔️ Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication abilities.
✔️ College degree preferred but not mandatory.
✔️ Proficiency in Word, Excel, and CRM systems is a plus.
✔️ Ability to travel when required.

Compensation & Benefits

💰 Competitive Base Salary: 120,000 - 140,000 USD, plus:
