As a Client Executive in the Global Technology Sales (GTS) team, you will be a strategic partner to major client accounts, working directly with C-level executives to solve critical business challenges. Your role focuses on retaining and expanding client contract value, with a sales quota exceeding $1 million annually.
You will lead account planning, develop strategic sales initiatives, and manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing. Your success will be measured by increased customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth within your territory.
Consult with C-level executives to develop and implement enterprise-wide strategies leveraging Gartner’s products and services.
Manage a portfolio of major client accounts, ensuring contract retention and expansion.
Meet or exceed a sales quota of $1 million+ contract value annually.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Build and nurture strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across client organizations.
Deliver insightful, strategic advice that drives client business outcomes and enhances customer loyalty.
Collaborate internally with Gartner teams to optimize client service and product delivery.
12-15 years of external consultative sales experience, ideally within high-technology industries (software, hardware, or services).
Proven success managing and growing large enterprise accounts.
Expertise in account planning and territory management.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain C-level and senior executive relationships.
Strong business acumen, executive presence, and sales skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication, including presentation capabilities.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
