Axxis Software, by Oil Price Information Service (OPIS), a Dow Jones Company, is a leading provider of client/server and cloud-based software solutions designed to address downstream petroleum process automation when buying, selling and transporting fuel. We are seeking an experienced Sr. Business Development Executive to generate new software and service revenues by helping our clients gain insights into their business using our Supply Chain Management Software and Data Service solutions.

You will work as an integral member of the Axxis Software Sales team. This is an opportunity to join a high performing sales team for one of the most respected providers of comprehensive market data, software and integration solutions for the downstream petroleum and bio-energy industries. The ideal candidate must understand and articulate the benefits of the solutions they sell, strive for superior account relationship management, and execute strategic sales initiatives.

In this position, you will need to utilize your solution selling, product demonstration expertise and knowledge of the Axxis Software and Service offering to assist prospective clients in understanding how our solutions can be used to solve their business problems. The chosen candidate will generate a substantive sales pipeline using core sales processes to produce revenue in line with quota. This role frequently meets with customers in-person and via presentations, matching Axxis solutions to current and future strategic customer challenges. This candidate has an accomplished level of understanding of industry, business, financials, products and service and may help others understanding. May be recognized as an expert in one area (e.g. Fuel Order, Inventory, Dispatch Management, Fuel Reconciliation and Business Analytics).

This candidate will be required to follow up by phone to generate new leads and opportunities for the Axxis Sales Team as we target 8,000+ OPIS customers. You will also need to self-generate referrals and create new marketing campaigns with the Axxis Marketing Team. The Sr. Business Development Executive will be required to: qualify the prospects, determine the appropriate solution for that prospect and demonstrate the benefits of that software solution.
