Description:

Ann Taylor is seeking a Sales Lead to join their team at the Rio Grande Valley store in Mercedes, TX. The Sales Lead is a key team member responsible for supporting and modeling excellent customer experiences. This role focuses on delivering personalized service to customers and guiding associates while ensuring that the store meets visual and operational standards.

In this position, you'll collaborate with the Store Manager, assist in onboarding and developing a highly engaged team, and contribute to building an inclusive environment. You'll use various tools to drive customer-focused behaviors and a profitable business, while stepping into the role of manager when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the brand and model personalized customer service behaviors.

  • Assist in onboarding and developing an effective, engaged team.

  • Support an inclusive environment for associates.

  • Maintain high visual and operational standards.

  • Use technology to inform customers about company priorities and promotions.

  • Provide in-the-moment coaching and feedback to associates.

  • Step into the role of manager when needed.

Requirements:

  • 6 months of retail sales experience (preferred).

  • Management experience (preferred).

  • Technology proficiency and ability to operate a point-of-sale system.

  • Strong communication and coaching skills.

  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Ability to organize, delegate, and prioritize tasks.
