Sales Leadership Intern

 

Description:

MacLean-Fogg Company offers a two-year Sales Manufacturing Management Program (MMP) designed to prepare recent graduates for impactful careers in manufacturing and sales leadership. Starting in July 2026, participants will complete two one-year rotations at different U.S. facilities. Candidates must be open to placement anywhere in the U.S.

The Sales team operates at the intersection of customers and operations, ensuring delivery of technical and relationship-driven solutions to leading automotive and industrial clients. Participants will gain exposure to account management, market development, customer engagement, and sales strategy, while learning from experienced professionals in a structured leadership development environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with customers on pricing, quotes, and order fulfillment.

  • Support sales pipeline development and opportunity qualification.

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.

  • Partner with operations to ensure alignment of customer needs with production and supply chain capacity.

  • Participate in a capstone project impacting sales growth or customer engagement.

  • Engage in community initiatives reflecting MacLean-Fogg’s values.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field (completed within the last 12 months).

  • Less than one year of full-time post-graduate professional work experience.

  • Graduates of 2025 or 2026 with a minimum GPA of 3.0.

  • Demonstrated leadership through internships, student organizations, or project teams.

  • Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Agile mindset with creativity and problem-solving focus.

  • Willingness to travel and relocate across the U.S.

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs (with assistance/tools) and perform some physical tasks in a plant environment.
