Sales Manager

 

Description:

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a driven and experienced Sales Manager to oversee core product sales, rentals, and services within an assigned area. The Sales Manager will play a key role in expanding the customer base, managing sales and marketing strategies, and meeting revenue targets. Success will be measured by revenue, profitability, order conversion, pipeline development, and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales growth and meet targets through effective sales management

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the customer base

  • Engage with Engineering Consultants and DOT officials to ensure product standards align with market requirements

  • Oversee contract opportunities with DOT and local roadway agencies

  • Plan and execute grassroots marketing campaigns to enter new markets

  • Provide ongoing training to customers to enhance product knowledge

  • Submit weekly reports on sales data, pipeline status, competitive analysis, and insights

  • Prepare data for monthly sales reviews

  • Collaborate with Senior Regional Account Manager and Branch Manager for rental asset management

  • Monitor and propose improvements for existing product lines

  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences

Product Focus:
The Sales Manager will manage a range of products, including crash cushions, truck-mounted attenuators, TMA truck rentals, and roadside delineators.

  • Communicate with external stakeholders (customers, government officials, state departments)

  • Prioritize and plan work effectively to meet goals

  • Collaborate with team members through various communication channels

  • Use computer systems to process data and manage information

  • Build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships

  • Stay updated on industry trends and apply new knowledge

  • Travel within the state for sales and business development

  • Assist with the installation, relocation, and removal of work zone products
