Description:
Feedback Sports is looking for a driven, entrepreneurial sales manager to grow revenue in the Americas. This is a sales-first role: the majority of this person's time and success is measured by growing distributor and key retailer sales across North, Central, and South America. The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy self-starter who uses data, AI tools, and modern sales practices to work smarter, move faster, and ultimately sell more.
Key Objectives
- Own and grow sales goals and relationships with distributors and key direct retailers across North, Central, and South America — this is the top priority of the role
- Proactively hunt for new distributor and retailer business in order to build the pipeline
- Use sales and business analytics — including AI tools — to prepare for customer conversations, spot opportunity, and identify growth and deeper product penetration by region and account
- Provide valuable data-driven insights to help customers improve their business
- Ask questions and listen intently to determine the best solution for the customer
- Work with Marketing to prepare and deliver compelling product and sales strategy presentations, both in person and over video, to a diverse range of audiences
- Build and maintain rolling sales forecasts with distributors and key retailers, reviewed with customers on a regular cadence and communicated to Operations to support inventory and production planning
- Monitor customer inventory levels to help ensure product availability across regions
- Monitor online content to ensure brand continuity
- Monitor key account and competitor pricing to ensure equitable market position of Feedback Sports products across the Americas
- Travel to distributors, key retailers, and trade shows/bicycle events as required
- Perform other tasks as assigned by manager
Daily Operations & Task Management
In addition to owning sales strategy and results, this person is expected to handle the day-to-day account and order details.
- Maintain a daily call and outreach schedule focused on driving sales
- Plan ahead: review sales history, prior communication, and any follow-up items before reaching out
- Set clear objectives and desired outcomes for each call or meeting
- Be a first line of contact for incoming sales inquiries
- Enter orders accurately and in a timely manner
- Organize daily tasks to prioritize the most productive, revenue-driving use of time across time zones
Requirements & Qualifications
- 5+ years of sales management experience preferred
- A competitive drive — motivated by goals, growth, and closing business, in addition to maintaining existing accounts
- Demonstrated precision and accuracy when managing complex logistics, technical details, or administrative tasks where every detail matters.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: comfortable owning a territory like your own business, moving quickly, and wearing multiple hats at a small company
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with modern sales, data, CRM and AI tools as part of the daily workflow
- Proven ability to read and act on sales and business analytics to drive informed sales conversations
- The ability to listen closely to a customer to determine their true needs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including confident and polished presenter
- Experience managing distributor and/or key retail relationships; international or Latin American market experience a plus
- General understanding of bicycles and a genuine passion for cycling. Prior bike industry experience is a strong plus
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Willingness and ability to travel including internationally
- Based in or willing to relocate to Golden, CO area
