Sales Operations Manager

Pure Storage is a leading company in the data storage industry, focused on reshaping technology and driving innovation. The Senior Sales Operations Manager, Public Sector (SLED) will support and strengthen the sales organization, enabling sales processes and methodologies to maximize results for the State, Local, and Education (SLED) segment. This leadership role will provide actionable insights, drive sales process innovation, simplify business processes, and assist in executing growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver forecast and quarterly results through structured reporting, bridge/gap analysis, pipeline review, and rep performance analysis.

• Keep SLED Sales leaders ahead of business issues and proactively address concerns.

• Co-lead pipeline pod activities to inspect and improve pipeline effectiveness.

• Build growth plans within the region, set KPIs, and provide insights on strengths and weaknesses.

• Develop and lead cross-functional initiatives as required.

• Coach and mentor sales leaders in new systems and processes.

• Drive operational excellence through trusted advisory, transparent reporting, and problem resolution.

• Own all sales metrics reporting, analysis, and action plans.

• Provide recommendations for account management, territory alignment, and sales process improvements.

• Analyze trends and provide forward-looking recommendations for the SLED region.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Finance, or other analytical roles.

• Minimum 3 years experience in the Public Sector.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance.

• Strong analytical problem-solving skills and business acumen.

• Proficiency in Google Sheets, Google Slides, MS Office, Clari, Anaplan, Salesforce; Tableau experience a plus.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work under pressure.

Salary & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $147,000 - $221,000 annually ($12,250 - $18,416 per month).
