Description:
ByteByteGo, the largest technology newsletter on Substack, is seeking a Sales & Partnerships Lead to help scale its revenue and impact. The company is looking for an individual to secure new advertisers, nurture existing relationships, and optimize revenue opportunities for its newsletter and other media formats. ByteByteGo reaches over a million developers, engineers, and tech leaders, and the role is critical to expanding its sponsorship business.
Identify, pitch, and close sponsorship deals with companies targeting a technical audience.
Manage inbound interest and proactively source new leads.
Customize media plans and proposals based on advertiser needs and KPIs.
Handle sales calls and follow-ups with prospective sponsors.
Grow existing accounts through renewals, upsells, and relationship management.
Track performance and help optimize pricing, packages, and positioning.
1+ years of experience in sales, partnerships, or media sponsorships—preferably in tech or newsletter media.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with outbound prospecting, CRM tools, and closing deals.
Strong understanding of the tech ecosystem, including developer tools, SaaS, AI, and startups.
Bonus: Familiarity with ByteByteGo and its audience.
