Description:
The Banking Associate plays a key role in delivering TD’s brand promise by completing everyday banking transactions, offering financial advice, educating customers on products and services, and helping customers achieve financial goals. The role includes servicing customers both on the teller line and platform, opening new accounts, resolving issues, and helping manage customer relationships.
Process customer transactions accurately
Open/close personal deposit accounts
Provide financial advice and educate customers on TD products & tools
Conduct customer outreach, manage leads, set appointments
Identify customer needs and refer to appropriate partners
Maintain compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures
Perform teller and platform duties as needed
Manage customer interactions, wait times, and lobby leadership
Ensure proper documentation, customer authentication, and dual control processes
Handle account servicing tasks (checks, debit cards, address updates, etc.)
Maintain cash drawer accuracy and security
Support store operations and team collaboration
Complete all required compliance and job-specific training
High school diploma or GED
1 year of customer service experience (preferred)
Teller experience preferred
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Notary License preferred
Must complete Teller training and Part 1 of platform training upon hire
