Sales Representative

 

Description:

ENGIE North America is seeking a highly driven Sales Representative II to manage and develop channel partner relationships while identifying and securing Commercial and Industrial (C&I) customers in the New York and New England (ISO NEPOOL) regions. This position is crucial to ensuring a strong and continuous pipeline of sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of electricity and renewable energy solutions within the assigned territories by collaborating with channel partners.

  • Assess customer needs by analyzing energy consumption data, account details, and financial health to provide custom-fit pricing proposals.

  • Clearly communicate and align ENGIE’s offerings with customer load patterns and energy objectives.

  • Finalize energy supply agreements through skilled negotiation and margin management, aiming for both profitability and client satisfaction.

  • Deliver competitive energy proposals that account for market conditions and ensure a high likelihood of contract closure.

  • Partner with Key Account Managers for larger transactions to ensure cohesive delivery of customer service and strategic alignment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred. Alternatively, a minimum of 5 years of industry experience in retail energy sales or similar.

  • Strong persuasive communication and negotiation skills, especially with executive-level stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new processes, products, and tools.

  • Proven capability in multitasking and prioritizing assignments with precision and professionalism.

Additional Requirements:

  • Work Type: Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)

  • Travel: Up to 15% domestic travel with some overnight stays

  • Driver’s License: Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license

  • Must adhere to ENGIE's ethics and safety guidelines

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Monthly Salary: USD 6395 – 10656

  • Bonus/incentive plans based on performance
