Sales Trader

Description:

ICD Alloys and Metals, a leading supplier of specialty metals and alloys, is looking for an experienced Sales Trader to drive sales and trading of high-temperature alloys, refractory metals, and specialty materials. This role requires strong negotiation skills, market expertise, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

📈 Sales & Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities within the metals industry.
🤝 Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with industrial clients and metal traders.
🌍 Market Analysis: Monitor global and regional trends, pricing fluctuations, and geopolitical factors affecting supply and demand.
💬 Negotiation & Pricing: Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with customers and suppliers to secure favorable deals.
📦 Order & Inventory Management: Oversee the sales process, from quotations to delivery, ensuring timely fulfillment.
📊 Financial & Risk Management: Monitor deal profitability, pricing risks, and market volatility.
📝 Reporting & Compliance: Provide regular sales performance reports and ensure adherence to regulations.
🎓 Product Knowledge: Maintain a strong understanding of metals and alloys to effectively communicate with customers.

Minimum Requirements:

✔ 3-5 years of experience in sales, trading, or business development within the metals, alloys, or commodities industry.
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Metallurgy, or a related field (preferred).
✔ Strong knowledge of metals and alloys, with an analytical mindset for market trends and pricing.
✔ Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
✔ Proven track record of identifying and closing sales opportunities.
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (Salesforce, etc.).
✔ Experience with trading platforms or financial software (a plus).
