Description:
The NS Group is a national group purchasing organization specializing in healthcare and corrections food service. The company aims to exceed customer expectations by providing the industry’s best menu solutions and group purchasing programs.
Drive sales growth and strengthen client relationships through consistent support, training, and operational excellence. Promote the company’s services and contracts within the assigned territory.
Grow sales volume and promote manufacturer and supplier contracts
Ensure client compliance with program guidelines and resolve challenges
Document all activities, sales progress, client interactions, and follow-ups in CRM
Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with clients
Make weekly sales calls to prospects
Maintain weekly sales reports and tracking
Implement account retention plans
Negotiate effectively and manage organizational and planning tasks
Handle cold calls proficiently
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university OR 5+ years sales experience
Experience with group purchasing organizations in healthcare is helpful
Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
Valid driver’s license with clean record and current automobile insurance
Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check
Minimum 5 years non-retail sales experience
Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Strong analytical skills and communication skills (oral and written)
Outgoing personality with proficiency in cold calling
