Sap Basis Administrator

Description:

The SAP Basis Administrator will support efforts to inventory SAP application IDs across 11 SAP applications and work closely with CyberArk subject matter experts to integrate SAP applications for automated password changes. The candidate should have familiarity with SAP application installations, integration methods with third-party tools, and basic knowledge of SAP transactions related to user and password management. Experience with SAP on AIX or basic AIX knowledge is preferred.

Key Duties:

• Identify and document SAP SUSA accounts.

• Develop a password rotation methodology to enhance security.

• Test vaulting functionality to ensure proper credential management.

• Vault SAP credentials in CyberArk in collaboration with IT security (BASIS team).

• Lead the basis team in changing and validating passwords for SAP applications and interfaces.

• Identify and document options for SAP application integration with CyberArk for automated password management.

• Perform SAP application changes required for CyberArk integration.

• Document SAP application integration processes with CyberArk for future reference and continuity.
