Sap Functional Consultant

Description:

AnalyticEra is looking for a highly experienced SAP Functional Consultant with specialized expertise in Production Planning (PP) or Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) to join a long-term transformation project for a major client in the manufacturing sector. This role demands a deep functional and technical understanding of Demand-Driven MRP (DDMRP) and NJIT-based (New Jersey Institute of Technology) integration principles.

As a core member of the implementation team, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and executing advanced SAP solutions that enhance production and supply chain operations using S/4HANA. Your contributions will directly impact efficiency, predictability, and agility across the client’s manufacturing processes—especially if you come from or understand the automotive sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the configuration and integration of DDMRP logic within SAP S/4HANA systems.

• Develop and implement buffer profiles, decoupling points, and DDMRP KPIs to manage material flow effectively.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including planning, logistics, and shop floor operations to drive transformation.

• Map NJIT-aligned methodologies and manufacturing best practices into SAP configurations.

• Conduct workshops, user training, and knowledge transfer sessions to ensure adoption and alignment.

• Troubleshoot, resolve functional issues, and recommend process improvements for continuous enhancement.

Must-Have Skills:

• 10+ years of SAP functional experience in either PP (Production Planning) or EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) modules.

• Proven experience implementing DDMRP solutions in SAP S/4HANA environments.

• Familiarity with NJIT-aligned configurations, academic frameworks, or methodologies.

• In-depth understanding of S/4HANA-based production planning and supply chain flows.

• Background in manufacturing industries, preferably in automotive.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP certification in PP or EWM.

• Exposure to related SAP modules such as MM (Materials Management), TM (Transportation Management), APO, or IBP.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work independently in high-demand, complex environments.
