NAM Info Inc is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP PP MES Consultant for a fully remote, long-term contract position in the United States. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with 10 or more years of experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), who have worked across complex manufacturing and enterprise IT landscapes.

This position plays a critical role in the digital transformation of manufacturing processes, providing integration between shop floor systems and enterprise-level planning systems. As a consultant, you will design, implement, and optimize MES solutions, working closely with business stakeholders to ensure seamless data flow, real-time production visibility, and end-to-end traceability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and support SAP MES (Manufacturing Execution System) solutions for managing and controlling shop floor production processes

• Act as a strategic bridge between ERP systems and shop floor control, ensuring real-time data exchange and alignment between business planning and manufacturing execution

• Provide hands-on configuration, customization, and enhancement of SAP MES components within SAP Digital Manufacturing solutions

• Monitor and manage real-time production data including machine status, material tracking, and quality control

• Enable traceability and compliance across production workflows through MES integration

• Support production efficiency through improved data collection, process optimization, and labor management functionalities

• Collaborate with production teams, IT teams, and business stakeholders to identify challenges and provide scalable solutions

Technical Focus Areas:

• SAP PP (Production Planning) module

• SAP MES / Digital Manufacturing suite

• Integration with ERP platforms for seamless planning-to-execution transitions

• Real-time monitoring, quality assurance, and compliance enforcement

• Deep understanding of manufacturing data flows and shop floor control systems

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP PP and MES consulting roles

• Proven track record in deploying and supporting MES systems in manufacturing environments

• Strong functional understanding of production processes, ERP-MES interfaces, and manufacturing KPIs

• Experience working remotely and managing deliverables independently

• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
