Ulta Beauty, North America’s premier beauty retailer, is seeking a Seasonal Beauty Advisor for its Lewiston, Idaho location. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about beauty, customer service, and helping guests find products that make them feel confident and inspired. As a Seasonal Beauty Advisor, you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming and engaging environment for every customer while supporting store operations during the busy season.
The position focuses on delivering exceptional service, maintaining merchandising standards, and assisting with store activities such as sales, promotions, and product demonstrations. Ulta Beauty offers a vibrant, energetic environment that encourages creativity, professional growth, and teamwork.
Performance & Guest Experience
Deliver outstanding service by greeting guests warmly, assessing their needs, and providing personalized product recommendations.
Promote Ulta Beauty’s loyalty programs, credit cards, and app to enhance customer engagement.
Conduct makeup applications, skincare consultations, and product demonstrations to increase sales and elevate the guest experience.
Maintain product displays, restock merchandise, and ensure testers are available and properly presented.
Support the execution of store events, promotions, and in-store beauty experiences.
Process transactions efficiently and handle returns, refunds, and exchanges courteously.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with managers and team members to meet sales targets and performance goals.
Contribute to an inclusive and supportive team culture that values collaboration, communication, and mutual respect.
Participate actively in ongoing product and brand training to enhance knowledge and selling skills.
Store Operations
Maintain store cleanliness and organization across all areas including salesfloor, restrooms, stockroom, and cashwrap.
Support merchandising activities, including resets, planograms, signage, and promotional displays.
Follow Ulta Beauty’s operational policies, compliance standards, and loss prevention guidelines.
Use Ulta’s technology systems effectively, including POS and mobile tools.
Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Education: High school diploma preferred.
Experience: At least 1 year of retail or customer service experience preferred, especially within beauty, fashion, or cosmetics.
Skills:
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to build relationships and assist customers with enthusiasm and professionalism.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a dynamic team.
Proficiency with basic technology including POS systems and Apple devices.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs. throughout the shift.
Must be able to perform continuous physical activity, including stocking and merchandising tasks.
