The Porter (Seasonal) plays a vital role in ensuring cleanliness, safety, and sanitation across the dining area, front of house, and kitchen support areas. This position runs from mid-November through January 8, primarily during daytime and dinner services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of front-of-house areas, including tables, counters, floors, beverage stations, and windows.

• Clear, bus, and clean tables quickly during peak service times, ensuring readiness before each service.

• Transport dishes, utensils, and trays safely to the kitchen following all safety standards.

• Wash dishes, glasses, pots, and cooking equipment manually or using dishwashing machinery, ensuring compliance with sanitation standards.

• Support receiving of deliveries, safely transporting goods to designated storage areas.

• Operate cleaning and kitchen equipment (dish machines, shrink-wrap, carts, etc.) while following HACCP and OSHA standards.

• Participate in inventory support, equipment maintenance, and other assigned tasks to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Qualifications:

• Previous restaurant experience required.

• Familiarity with safe handling procedures (cut gloves, slip-resistant shoes, oven mitts, etc.).

• Ability to lift, carry, and transport supplies in compliance with safety standards.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay range: $20–$25 per hour.
