EY is seeking an experienced and driven Seasonal Tax Manager to join its Private Client Services (PCS) practice for FY26. This growing division focuses on serving privately held businesses, their owners, and high-net-worth individuals and families. EY’s PCS team provides strategic tax planning, compliance, and advisory services to a diverse range of clients — from emerging startups to multi-billion-dollar private enterprises.
As a Seasonal Tax Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the preparation, review, and analysis of complex tax returns while providing exceptional guidance and insights to clients. This role can be performed remotely from anywhere within the United States and does not require travel.
Review and manage complex individual, partnership, and S Corporation tax returns for private clients.
Lead tax planning efforts for high-net-worth individuals and families, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
Provide technical tax guidance and develop effective tax planning strategies.
Review financial data and perform high-level analyses to identify tax savings opportunities.
Collaborate closely with team members across EY’s national tax network to ensure exceptional client service delivery.
Manage multiple projects efficiently, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
Communicate complex tax issues and planning opportunities clearly to clients.
Support ongoing process improvements and contribute to EY’s high-performance culture.
Strong leadership and organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple high-priority engagements simultaneously.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Strategic thinker with the ability to question existing processes and propose improvements.
Experience reviewing complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and trusts.
Deep understanding of federal and state personal and trust income tax laws.
Knowledge of estate, wealth transfer, and tax planning strategies.
Comfort and proficiency working remotely in a collaborative, virtual environment.
Required:
Active U.S. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or active State Bar membership.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
Minimum 4 years of relevant tax compliance experience for private client individuals, partnerships, or S Corporations.
Preferred:
Experience with a top-tier or mid-tier accounting firm.
Proven track record in tax accounting for financial statements.
Strong client relationship management skills and ability to lead a team of professionals.
Competitive Pay: USD 90 – 120 per hour, overtime eligible.
