Role Overview

We are looking for a Security Assessment Service Lead to head our penetration testing team and deliver high-impact security assessments to clients across various industries. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in complex penetration tests and team leadership, paired with excellent client communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead and manage a team of application, network, API, mobile, and cloud penetration testers.
  • Oversee scoping, execution, peer review, and reporting of security assessments across multiple domains.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear, timely, and professional communication.
  • Provide technical mentorship and quality assurance through in-depth peer reviews and project oversight.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of security assessment reports aligned with client expectations.
  • Collaborate with the sales and delivery team to draft Statements of Work (SOWs) and proposals (optional, but a strong plus).
  • Participate in or lead business development initiatives, client briefings, and follow-up meetings (preferred).
  • Contribute to internal knowledge base and team development through regular knowledge sharing and tooling improvement.

 

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience leading penetration testing teams across application, network, API, and mobile domains.
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in complex penetration testing engagements.
  • Proven people management and team-building skills.
  • Exceptional English communication skills — written and verbal.
  • Availability during US Eastern Time (6:00 AM – 1:00 PM EST).
  • Strong peer review capability and commitment to quality.
  • Deep understanding of attack vectors, modern tooling, and security testing methodologies.

 

Preferred / Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience drafting SOWs and security assessment proposals.
  • Background in bug bounty hunting or red team operations.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA.
  • Experience in public speaking at major security conferences (e.g., Black Hat, DEF CON, OWASP).
  • Contribution to the security community (e.g., open-source tools, blogs, CTFs).
