Description:

Arrow Security is seeking a vigilant and reliable Security Guard for its Wading River, NY location (site based in Calverton, NY). This part-time role operates on a Thursday–Saturday schedule from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, offering a professional opportunity for individuals experienced in security, safety, and incident response.

The Security Guard will be tasked with maintaining the safety of the assigned site and its occupants by observing activity, responding to incidents, and communicating concerns to supervisory staff. The role requires a strong commitment to situational awareness, ethical conduct, and compliance with both Arrow Security's protocol and state security regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site surveillance and perimeter monitoring at assigned post

• Observe and report activities per client expectations and company procedures

• Respond to potential safety or emergency alerts promptly and appropriately

• Coordinate with on-site supervisors for escalated incidents

• Support fellow guards in de-escalation situations

• Perform incident documentation, property patrols, and fire prevention procedures

• Accurately log hours using company scheduling and clock-in/out systems

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid NYS Security Guard License

• Valid Driver’s License

• CPR, Narcan, and AED First Aid Certifications

• Completion of 16-hour OJT (On-the-Job Training) as mandated by NYS

• At least 1 year of prior experience in security guarding

• Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility
