Security Manager

Description:

Dynatrace, a global leader in software intelligence and performance management, is seeking a Global Physical Security Manager to design, implement, and lead the company’s worldwide physical security and risk management strategy. As a key member of the Workplace Experience (WPX) Team under the People and Culture department, this role ensures that Dynatrace’s global offices are safe, compliant, and secure environments that reflect the company’s culture of innovation and trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing global security programs, implementing best practices, and ensuring compliance with international standards and local regulations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to proactively manage risks, respond to incidents, and drive global security excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Global Security Strategy & Compliance:

• Develop and execute Dynatrace’s comprehensive global physical security and emergency response strategy.

• Serve as the primary contact for external security and emergency response vendors.

• Implement and manage global rollout of Reverse911 tools to strengthen emergency communication systems.

• Conduct global risk assessments and create mitigation strategies to minimize threats.

• Oversee access control systems, surveillance operations, and emergency response procedures.

• Ensure compliance with international security standards and local laws, including ISO 27001-related requirements.

• Lead security certification processes and maintain up-to-date compliance documentation.

Training & Awareness:

• Design and conduct engaging global security awareness and emergency response training.

• Provide advisory support to regional WPX teams on security requirements and risk management best practices.

Security Infrastructure & Documentation:

• Establish a centralized Security Information Hub (e.g., SharePoint) for all global security documentation.

• Develop and manage physical security policies, procedures, and incident response protocols.

• Prepare reports for audits, vendor reviews, and client security inquiries.

• Partner with IT Security teams to support ISO 27001 audits and related initiatives.

Innovation & Transformation:

• Introduce cutting-edge technologies and tools to modernize global physical security systems.

• Collaborate across departments to improve efficiency and enhance organizational security maturity.

• Contribute to long-term strategic planning and process optimization.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in managing global physical security programs within large, multinational environments.

• Strong knowledge of international physical security standards, compliance, and risk management.

• Hands-on experience with access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.

• Deep understanding of ISO 27001 and other security certification frameworks.

• Fluent in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus.

• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong organizational, communication, and analytical capabilities.

• Proactive, hands-on mentality with the ability to manage multiple global initiatives.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience implementing or managing physical security solutions across multiple regions.

• Familiarity with global emergency response systems and procedures.

• ITIL or other process improvement certifications are advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: $130,000–$150,000 per year (based on experience and location).
