Description:
Our client is seeking a Senior Access Control Technician with 5+ years of experience to support the installation, integration, and maintenance of enterprise access control and security camera systems across multi-site properties. This role supports the Client's cloud and hybrid access platforms, enabling secure, remote, and scalable access management for clients.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and service access control systems across single and multi-facility environments.
- Integrate access control with IP-based and cloud/hybrid security camera systems.
- Perform low-voltage wiring, termination, and system troubleshooting.
- Support centralized, remote access management platforms and credentialing systems.
- Diagnose hardware, software, and connectivity issues across access and camera systems.
- Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project documentation.
- Travel to client sites using a company-provided work truck to perform installations and service.
- Ensure installations follow security, safety, and quality standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in access control and low-voltage security systems.
- Hands-on experience with access control platforms and IP camera systems.
- Strong knowledge of low-voltage cabling, door hardware, and controllers.
- Familiarity with cloud or hybrid-hosted security solutions.
- Valid drivers license and ability to work onsite in Dallas-area locations.
