Senior Account Executive

 

Description:

A leading healthcare marketing agency is seeking a Senior Account Executive to serve as the primary point of contact for clients while supporting the development and execution of brand strategies. This role offers the opportunity to lead day-to-day client interactions, manage tactical execution, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive project success across multiple brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main contact for 1–2 client brands, managing tactical execution and maintaining client satisfaction
  • Lead internal project kickoff meetings and develop detailed project briefs
  • Manage client communications, including contact reports, status updates, and follow-ups
  • Collaborate with internal departments (strategy, creative, copy) to ensure seamless workflow and alignment
  • Assist in pitch preparations and support new business initiatives as needed
  • Submit and manage materials in systems like Veeva, including annotations, job codes, and MLR review participation
  • Track and reconcile budgets per project, proactively identifying potential scope changes
  • Identify organic growth opportunities within client accounts and report them to the appropriate team leads
  • Delegate and oversee junior team contributions to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables

 

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • 2+ years of account management experience within a healthcare communications or pharmaceutical marketing agency
  • Prior experience with access and reimbursement content highly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage several workstreams simultaneously
  • Familiarity with medical/legal/regulatory (MLR) review processes and systems like Veeva
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and project execution
  • Comfortable working independently while also collaborating across multiple teams
