Description:
A leading healthcare marketing agency is seeking a Senior Account Executive to serve as the primary point of contact for clients while supporting the development and execution of brand strategies. This role offers the opportunity to lead day-to-day client interactions, manage tactical execution, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive project success across multiple brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main contact for 1–2 client brands, managing tactical execution and maintaining client satisfaction
- Lead internal project kickoff meetings and develop detailed project briefs
- Manage client communications, including contact reports, status updates, and follow-ups
- Collaborate with internal departments (strategy, creative, copy) to ensure seamless workflow and alignment
- Assist in pitch preparations and support new business initiatives as needed
- Submit and manage materials in systems like Veeva, including annotations, job codes, and MLR review participation
- Track and reconcile budgets per project, proactively identifying potential scope changes
- Identify organic growth opportunities within client accounts and report them to the appropriate team leads
- Delegate and oversee junior team contributions to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- 2+ years of account management experience within a healthcare communications or pharmaceutical marketing agency
- Prior experience with access and reimbursement content highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage several workstreams simultaneously
- Familiarity with medical/legal/regulatory (MLR) review processes and systems like Veeva
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and project execution
- Comfortable working independently while also collaborating across multiple teams
