Description:
Elastic, the Search AI Company, is seeking a Senior Account Executive – Security (Northeast) to drive adoption of its Elastic Security solutions across enterprise and strategic accounts. This role will focus on expanding the Elastic Security footprint, helping clients leverage Elastic’s SIEM, Security Analytics, Endpoint Security, and Cloud Security offerings to maximize their cybersecurity capabilities.
This is a specialist overlay sales role, partnering with Enterprise Account Executives to develop pipeline, close security-focused deals, and mentor teams on effective positioning and sales strategies.
Drive demand and awareness for Elastic Security within enterprise accounts.
Partner with Regional Enterprise Account Executives (AEs) to expand security sales pipeline.
Lead the full sales cycle for security opportunities including SIEM, endpoint, and cloud security.
Collaborate with Elastic Security Specialist Solution Architects on account strategy and planning.
Deliver impactful presentations, demos, and proof-of-concept engagements.
Support RFPs, RFIs, and quote requests related to Elastic Security.
Act as a player/coach, mentoring AEs and supporting regional marketing events.
Track and report cybersecurity pipeline and deal progression in Salesforce (SFDC).
5+ years experience selling enterprise solutions in SIEM, cybersecurity, data analytics, or log management.
Proven track record selling to CIOs, CISOs, and Fortune 500 cybersecurity teams with consistent quota overachievement.
Experience in an overlay sales role with a collaborative, consultative approach.
Mastery of structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, MEDDIC, Challenger, Sandler).
Excellent communication and presentation skills with both technical and executive audiences.
Proficiency in Salesforce (SFDC) and disciplined pipeline/forecasting.
Familiarity with open-source business models is a plus.
Competitive OTE: $226,500 – $358,300 USD
Base: $135,900 – $215,100 USD
Variable: $90,600 – $143,300 USD
