Adecco is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a Senior Analyst – Employee Programs Accounting to join a multinational client’s corporate accounting team in Oakland County, Michigan. This highly visible hybrid role offers the chance to shape accounting standards and processes that directly impact compensation, benefits, and employee program management.
As part of a dynamic business unit in a growth phase, the successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with HR, finance, and technical accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and operational excellence in employee program accounting.
Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis for employee programs including healthcare, pensions, payroll, stock compensation, and incentive plans.
Support quarterly and annual financial reporting, including disclosures and footnotes related to employee cost activities.
Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate accounting and timely reporting each month.
Assist with stock compensation vesting schedules, diluted EPS calculations, and related financial reporting.
Participate in budgeting and forecasting for employee benefits and compensation programs.
Manage payroll and benefit funding reconciliations in partnership with HR and external service providers.
Support SOX compliance, external audits, and various special projects within corporate accounting.
Conduct US GAAP research and document conclusions on complex or emerging employee cost accounting issues.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally with a mix of public accounting and corporate experience.
Strong understanding of US GAAP and technical accounting principles.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across HR, finance, and technical accounting teams.
