Senior Analyst

Description:

Deepwatch is seeking a Senior Analyst in Threat Intelligence to join its elite cybersecurity team. This hybrid position, based in San Francisco, CA (or any of the COE locations), is ideal for an experienced cyber threat analyst looking to apply advanced technical skills in a fast-paced, security-driven environment. As a Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst, you will collect, analyze, and disseminate cyber threat intelligence that supports security detection, response, and defensive measures.

In this role, you will be responsible for processing vast amounts of threat data, conducting in-depth analysis, and preparing high-quality reports for both internal and external stakeholders. You will play a vital role in shaping intelligence-driven security operations and advising customers on emerging threats and mitigation strategies.

Key duties include:

• Conducting deep-dive threat intelligence analysis and producing technical and executive-level reports.

• Ingesting and tagging cyber threat data in OpenCTI and correlating findings across multiple sources.

• Supporting threat hunting, detection enhancement, and incident response activities.

• Monitoring ransomware activity, leak sites, and newly exploited vulnerabilities (e.g., CISA KEV catalog).

• Creating visualizations like charts and graphs to illustrate threat trends and threat actor activities.

• Mentoring junior analysts and enhancing internal intelligence tradecraft and processes.

Candidates must possess expertise in OpenCTI, digital forensics, incident response, STIX/TAXII frameworks, SIEM systems, and threat actor profiling using the MITRE ATT&CK framework. Strong technical writing, scripting ability, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams are essential.

Travel & Security Clearance:
Candidates must be U.S. Persons as per ITAR (citizens, green card holders, refugees, or those granted asylum) and able to pass a background check. Occasional in-person work at the COE locations is expected.
