As the Sr. Director of Brand, you will have a high-impact leadership role in architecting and steering the global vision for Jazwares’ most prominent brands. As a key member of the leadership team, you will lead a dynamic group of creative communicators and brand managers, fostering innovation and operational excellence.

You are a brand champion and master storyteller, managing complex brand ecosystems—from high-level line architecture and global profitability to high-stakes licensor relationships. You will define the long-term roadmap that drives engagement and sales, ensuring a cohesive consumer experience across all touchpoints. This role requires a visionary leader who balances creative intuition with data-driven strategy to scale Jazwares’ presence in the global marketplace.

What You Will Do:

  • Architect and execute the overarching global brand vision and long-term strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate financial and growth objectives.
  • Lead high-level collaboration with Product Design, Packaging, Marketing, and Licensing to ensure all products exceed brand standards and market expectations.
  • Oversee the end-to-end product planning process—from conceptualization to retail shelf—ensuring award-winning product launches and market-leading brand presence.
  • Act as the primary brand and category expert for senior management, stakeholders, and external partners, including major global licensors.
  • Create and deliver high-quality, compelling presentations that clearly and impactfully communicate brand status, strategy and vision.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to define and drive retailer-specific channel strategies, creating diverse product lines tailored to the evolving needs of global markets.
  • Synthesize sales data, competitive landscape analysis, and emerging industry trends to pivot strategies and identify "white space" opportunities.
  • Build a high-performing team culture. Manage all stages of the employee life cycle, providing executive coaching, mentorship, and professional development.
  • Co-develop targeted retail exclusives and innovative product concepts by identifying global consumer insights and shifts in pop culture.
  • Direct communication with international field offices to ensure global brand consistency while adapting to regional market nuances.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field a plus (Master’s/MBA highly preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in brand development, product management, or marketing within consumer products.
  • 7+ years of experience specifically within the toy, entertainment, or licensed goods industry.
  • 7+ years of proven experience in a leadership/people-management capacity, with a track record of developing senior-level talent.
  • Financial Acumen: Advanced proficiency in brand profitability, P&L management, and driving programs to meet aggressive global financial targets.
  • Strategic Communication: Exceptional public speaking and presentation skills; ability to influence executive-level stakeholders and external partners.
  • Agility: Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment, managing multiple multi-million dollar portfolios simultaneously.
  • Analytical Rigor: Deep understanding of tracking and measuring KPIs, market share, and ROI.
  • Creative Vision: A "think outside the box" mentality with a passion for innovation and trend-spotting.
  • Interpersonal Mastery: Skilled at building productive relationships across diverse organizational levels and global cultures.
