Description:

A leading civil engineering and surveying firm with nearly 40 years of experience is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to support growing projects across Rhode Island and Massachusetts. This firm serves a diverse client base in commercial, residential, industrial, and public sectors. Key Responsibilities

• Perform complex design tasks using AutoCAD Civil 3D

• Use HydroCAD for septic system design and stormwater drainage modeling

• Prepare detailed project specifications aligned with state, city, and industry standards

• Coordinate with clients, internal teams, city officials, and regulatory agencies

• Prepare and present technical reports and project documentation

• Research and interpret local permitting regulations

• Attend board meetings and participate in permitting processes

Qualifications

• 3+ years of civil design engineering experience

• B.S. in Civil Engineering

• EIT required (LSIT is a plus)

• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or HydroCAD

• Strong knowledge of:

  • Grading & drainage calculations

  • Septic design and sewer systems

  • Underground utilities

• Experience with site civil projects, including land development, hydrology, structural engineering, and utilities

• Knowledge of local and state permitting laws and zoning regulations

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
