Description:

Be part of a specialized and highly respected claims team within a larger, stable organization. You’ll join a small, experienced group where your insight and decision-making will directly shape high-exposure claim outcomes. This is a unique chance to handle complex, litigated GL and commercial auto matters with a high degree of autonomy and support.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Manage moderate to high-exposure bodily injury and property damage claims, many involving multi-million dollar exposure

• Draft and issue coverage position letters including RORs and denials

• Conduct thorough investigations, evaluate risk, and manage litigation-heavy claims

• Review contracts for risk transfer opportunities and execute tenders

• Negotiate settlements, prepare detailed documentation, and maintain compliance with best practices

• Work independently within a collaborative team setting

What They’re Looking For:

• Minimum of 5 years of GL and commercial auto claims handling experience; 10+ preferred

• Strong litigation experience (at least 50% of your desk)

• Skilled in drafting coverage letters and performing independent coverage analysis

• Experience reviewing contracts and managing contractual risk transfer

• JD preferred but not required

• Strong tenure and stable career history

• Carrier experience required (not seeking candidates from TPAs)

• Experience with heavy equipment, construction vehicles, and high-exposure losses like fatalities or paralysis is highly valued
