EY-Parthenon is seeking a Senior Director for AI & ML Engineering within its Growth Platforms strategy practice. This role is designed for a visionary leader with deep technical expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and advanced data analytics, coupled with strategic consulting experience. The Senior Director will play a pivotal role in building and scaling cutting-edge AI-powered platforms and solutions, directly influencing high-impact client engagements and driving enterprise transformation for Fortune 500 organizations.

The selected candidate will partner with business leaders, strategy consultants, and technical teams to translate complex business problems into executable AI/ML workflows. They will define end-to-end system architecture for LLMs, RAG pipelines, multimodal agents, and advanced analytics platforms, ensuring robust design, scalable pipelines, and seamless integration with client environments. The role requires not only strong hands-on technical skills in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, vector databases, and embedding strategies, but also the ability to lead, mentor, and inspire cross-functional engineering teams.

The Senior Director will serve as the technical execution lead on client engagements, owning the delivery of ML-powered solutions from prototyping through production deployment. Responsibilities include setting coding standards, mentoring junior engineers, reviewing models and code, guiding architectural decisions, and ensuring successful integration of AI-powered components into enterprise workflows. The position also involves engaging directly with C-level executives and senior stakeholders, presenting complex technical solutions in clear and actionable business terms.

The role requires travel and flexibility in working hours to meet client demands. It is best suited for candidates who combine deep technical mastery, strategic thinking, and consultative leadership. Prior experience in consulting or startup environments is highly desirable.
