Description:
Harmony Senior Services, a certified Great Place to Work and one of the nation’s fastest-growing luxury senior living companies, is actively seeking a Senior Director of Marketing Strategy to join their in-house marketing team at their Charleston, SC corporate office. This strategic, on-site leadership role is pivotal in shaping and driving the company’s marketing direction across a growing portfolio of approximately 50 senior living communities in 12 states.
The position focuses on high-impact marketing initiatives including public relations, brand visibility, online reputation management, and localized marketing strategies that support lead generation and occupancy growth. The ideal candidate will combine high-level strategic vision with tactical execution skills, rooted in a passion for brand development and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement localized marketing strategies that enhance the visibility and reputation of each community.
Build and maintain strong relationships with local media, community leaders, business partners, and referral networks.
Partner with executive leadership to craft and execute strategic marketing plans aligned with corporate branding and occupancy goals.
Guide and oversee community-specific marketing efforts to ensure alignment with brand standards while catering to local demographics and competitive dynamics.
Protect and refine Harmony’s brand voice across all platforms, while managing the company's online reputation, including reviews, surveys, and social feedback recovery strategies.
Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to marketing effectiveness, such as brand sentiment, review metrics, earned media exposure, and campaign performance.
Utilize market insights, analytics, and lead quality data to inform marketing decisions and adjust strategies as needed.
Develop reporting dashboards for measuring impact and return on investment (ROI) from marketing initiatives.
Work closely with the marketing team to ensure accuracy and optimization of Harmony’s digital footprint, including presence on platforms such as Google, Facebook, and review sites.
Oversee the creation of local content including press releases, blog posts, community updates, and promotional material for events.
Required Qualifications:
At least 7 years of progressive marketing experience with demonstrated expertise in public relations, reputation management, and field marketing.
Prior experience in the senior living, healthcare, or multi-site service/hospitality industry is essential.
Proven track record of successfully executing localized marketing strategies with measurable outcomes.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, CRM systems, and performance analytics.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills capable of engaging effectively with local media as well as senior executives.
Excellent analytical skills to convert data into actionable insights.
Must be willing and able to travel to community locations as required.
