Senior Electrical Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer with HV transmission experience to join a leading energy infrastructure business. You will gain desirable experience supporting on both Data Center & Renewable Energy projects as you lead the technical design, planning and execution for large scale transmission and interconnection projects.

Duties & responsibilities

• Electrical design and planning for HV networks, including substations and balance of plant
• Working closely with the ISO/RTOs, regulatory agencies and different utilities throughout the project lifecycle
• Provide technical expertise in substation design, transmission planning and power system studies
• Collaborate with clients, customers, construction staff and internal team members to ensure successful delivery
• Fully remote with site / client visits

Education & Experience

• Experience working or strong relationships with a utility, ISO or RTO
• Experience with transmission planning, interconnection or grid infrastructure
• Worked within a Developer or contractor within the energy or data center sector would be beneficial
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
