Senior Elixir Developer

Themesoft Inc. is seeking Senior Elixir Developers to design, develop, and maintain scalable, distributed systems and high-performance applications. This role is ideal for experienced Elixir professionals passionate about building efficient, cloud-based or serverless solutions with strong problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable applications using Elixir and OTP principles.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide robust technical solutions.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to Elixir best practices and functional programming principles.

• Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and performance optimization to ensure application reliability.

• Build and maintain distributed systems ensuring smooth communication and data processing across nodes.

• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot proactively to maintain high availability.

• Stay updated with the latest Elixir tools, technologies, and industry advancements.

• Participate in code reviews and promote continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Elixir Developer (minimum 5 years).

• Strong expertise in Elixir and OTP framework.

• Proficiency in distributed systems and concurrency capabilities.

• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web application development using Elixir/Phoenix.

• Experience with databases like PostgreSQL or NoSQL.

• Familiarity with functional programming principles (experience with other functional languages is a plus).

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
