Description:
Polaris Inc. is looking for an analytical and driven Sr. Financial Analyst to join their Central Operations team, focusing on Plant Network Optimization. This role is critical in providing strategic financial insight and operational analysis to support major initiatives such as manufacturing optimization, insourcing/outsourcing, vertical integration, and lean transformations across Polaris’ operations.
You will collaborate with various cross-functional teams including finance, manufacturing, logistics, and trade compliance to ensure projects are well-supported with accurate financial modeling and analysis. The position calls for someone with a strong understanding of business processes, excellent modeling capabilities, and a drive for operational excellence.
Provide detailed financial analysis to support critical business development projects within the Central Operations team
Evaluate opportunities such as greenfield site selection, vertical integration, and network volume shifts
Develop standardized tools and procedures for modeling and analytics in operational finance
Build strong working relationships with business partners and finance peers to support enterprise-level decisions
Enhance and automate modeling tools to support both short-term and long-term strategic goals
Champion continuous improvement through process optimization, sharing best practices, and streamlining operations
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (required)
At least 4 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance
Prior experience in manufacturing, product costing, or supply chain finance is highly preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Alteryx or automation tools is a plus
Strong communication and leadership skills to influence cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment
Self-driven with a strong analytical mindset and a focus on operational execution
Fast-paced hybrid office environment based in Medina, MN
Occasional travel required

Competitive salary range: $80,000 – $111,000 annually
