Senior Graphic Designer

Description:

The role of a Senior Graphic Designer at Tekna is to provide critical thinking and discovery through process, to creatively propose and tackle design problems, for both static and interactive projects, that address identified project needs, while helping our clients meet their business objectives. Solutions will be developed using a combination of the following tools: sketching, computer software, social media, web, and print knowledge.

What you'll get to do

• Possess and demonstrate a high skill level in fundamental design tools and practices.
• Participate in a variety of research activities designed to gain a deeper understanding of market trends, demographics, competitive landscape, user needs and environments within the context of the given project.
• Using 2D software to resolve design and create finished design layouts.
• Support the creation of info graphics, research summaries, and presentations.
• Support graphic needs for products: promotional materials, educational materials, identity systems, usage guides, signs and symbols, packaging, graphic user interface design, photography, animation/video support, etc.

What you bring to the team

• Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in a graphic related field, or previous experience.
• Proven experience in corporate or consulting environments.
• Expert understanding of Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, written and verbal
• Exceptional organizational skills and proven ability to meet deadlines
